It has been a long wait but some of them may be installed in Menzies this year or next. They act as a SOLAR SPONGE to Soak up excess KW that may be exported to other houses. With feed in tariffs plunging it is great to store your excess KW in the battery & draw it out after dark! These batteries can sit in parks & service about 100 houses. Some solar PV Produce enough KW pa that the house 😀 Consumes in a year but much of it is exported elsewhere. Batteries allow more to be used in house!
