We scrutinise teachers, social workers, priests and other professionals on their capability to handle a huge responsibility and yet we allow any person, regardless of their psychological well-being, to run for political office in running a country and deciding on people's lives. My proposal is that regular psychological assessment to all those elected in Government, are screened for their psychological well-being on a yearly basis. Any irregularities would be referred to the Governance board.
This would have been a brilliant idea. I can't imagine what a shrink would make of JM & Co.😁
