A new Pre-Hospital and Emergency Ambulance Service should be introduced across the nation, provide the best and latest possible emergency care for our population. A strategic and well planned system should be in place in a matter of few months, with the possibility of having multiple dispatch centres and an innovation and state of the art Ambulance Command and Control centre. Such a service is urgently needed as the one we currently have is outdated and not in line with EU standards.
This service should also include the introduction of a new concept known as Rapid Response, which will include the use of Rapid Response vehicles/bikes in conjuction with the Ambulance service for faster and more efficient emergency service to our communities.
