We don't have enough beaches to sustain the increasing tourism and local population, When walls/roads are built to close to the foreshore, the result is that the backwash of the waves in rough weather take out more sand and pebbles from our beaches then nature can replenish, 3 cases in point are Xemxija, Xlendi, Spinola.
