Coordinate pedestrian crossing zones when there are multiple ones in a single long street, to have all traffic lights turn red at the same time, and not when 1 person pushes the button. The system in use everywhere in Europe and America means no one will ever have to stop more than once when driving in streets such as St.Anne's Street in Floriana, or The Strand in Sliema, because when you stop in 1 zone to allow people to cross, the same thing is happening 100 meters down the road (as in pic).
Agree. We should go for the installation of Intelligent traffic lights management systems which have been in use in Europe for ages now.
